Microban International has unveiled EcoFresh, an innovative odor-control technology engineered to neutralize a wide spectrum of body, environmental, and other offensive odorants.

Developed for active and outdoor enthusiasts, EcoFresh targets and captures odors both on the surface and within treated fabrics, delivering long-lasting freshness, even under demanding conditions. The technology effectively eliminates a variety of odor sources, including sweat, aging body odor, smoke, fish, and other environmental smells, ensuring fabrics remain fresh and pleasant for longer durations.

Unlike traditional activated carbon fabrics, EcoFresh offers faster, real-time odor capture and compatibility across an extensive range of textiles such as polyester, nylon, spandex, cotton, nonwovens, and polypropylene. This versatility allows for broader color options and sustained performance across multiple fabric types.

EcoFresh is available in two key formulations, EH1000, compatible with wicking aids and ER1000, compatible with durable water repellents and customer-added binders. Both variants can be easily incorporated during standard manufacturing processes. Its nonionic formulation ensures high compatibility while maintaining the fabric’s original comfort, breathability, and performance.
