Mango, in partnership with Materra, has introduced T-shirts and denim made with verified regenerative cotton grown under Materra’s program in India, with the aim of “giving nature a voice from fiber to fabric.”

“This collaboration marks another step on our sustainability roadmap as we work towards using only fibers with a lower environmental impact by 2030,” said Andrés Fernández, Mango’s sustainability and sourcing director. “It reflects our commitment to building a more circular and responsible fashion ecosystem.”

The collection includes pieces made with 50 to 100 percent Materra Regenerative Cotton. Materra’s Regen Cotton Program, which won Textile Exchange’s Collaborative Project of the Year award in 2023, gives farmers access to tools that ensure traceability and gather over 300 data points to support sustainable raw material production.

Mango’s campaign describes the range as “a collection that speaks to our commitment to responsible design, crafted with care using cotton grown through practices that restore the soil and support the farm’s full ecosystem.” Shot in Maharashtra, India, the campaign promotes “simplicity in form” and “integrity in process.”

“Materra believes regenerative agriculture must include people, especially farmers,” the campaign notes. “They need agronomic support, financial incentives, or both to adopt healthier and more sustainable practices. This is not optional, it’s essential.”

The initiative is supported by Co:Farm, Materra’s AI-powered digital platform, which provides farmers with personalized agronomy advice and generates detailed environmental, social, and economic impact data for brands. Available in multiple languages via mobile and web, Co:Farm gives Mango real-time visibility across its cotton supply chain.
