Creating Shared Value, a new conscious-driven section of Maison Valentino‘s website details the house’s everyday operations and efforts for green transformation.
The platform’s constantly updated hub allows visitors to connect with the Italian label’s universe, with each of its values discussed in three categories – People, Planet, and Product – as well as fundamental concepts and specialized programs.
While People focuses on Maison’s human side, with its goal to implement an inclusive corporate culture, Planet highlights Valentino’s dedication to transparency and an environmentally friendly business strategy.
Within this division, the luxury house has announced a new partnership with Karma Metrix, which will see the luxury house implement the company’s digital-forward sustainability measuring system and conduct a study on how to raise awareness of the topic internally, coinciding with the launch of the online hub.
In addition, the brand’s Product section discusses how it is changing its legacy to meet the demands of today’s consumers, including production procedures, the new definition of luxury, and the pursuit of greener practices.
Valentino chose writer and filmmaker Ainslie Henderson to produce a stop motion video that records what the platform stands for and integrates cultural discourse to communicate its story through the hub, according to a press statement.
