For season 9 of the nation's well-liked dating program, Love Island has teamed with eBay to once again highlight pre-loved fashion.

eBay has announced that it would once again partner with the popular dating show Love Island in an effort to continue encouraging customers to responsibly shop for used goods.

The show's first-ever pre-loved fashion partner, the online marketplace, replaced quick fashion brand ISawItFirst in the previous season. Additionally, Oh Polly and PrettyLittleThing were prior collaborators. This collaboration suggests the wider picture of sustainability, encouraging customers to make responsible purchasing decisions.

Kirsty Keoghan, Global GM of Fashion at eBay, said that the relationship has already demonstrated its impact with Islanders and their Pre-loved Ambassador Tasha Ghouri showcasing their true style and flair with pre-owned clothes. They can't wait to carry on this discussion and demonstrate to the country just how fantastic used furniture can look.

One-half of viewers (53%) who are aware of the eBay relationship indicated they had purchased used goods during the previous three months, according to ITV research. Since its initial collaboration with the program, eBay UK has noticed a 1600% increase in searches for "pre-loved clothing." Due to the increased demand, 24% more new circular fashion companies entered the internet market.

Amy Bannerman, eBay's Pre-loved Fashion Stylist, will once more purchase clothing from eBay to dress the on-screen celebrities. This season, celebrity stylist Bannerman—who has worked with Dua Lipa and Rita Ora—will also be styling a variety of used, authenticated sneakers and items from eBay's Imperfects line in addition to apparel. Islanders will be able to choose their outfits from the newly constructed villa's carefully managed common wardrobe.

Lifted Entertainment's Mike Spencer, the show's creative director, added that they are happy to be teaming up with eBay again as their pre-loved fashion partner. They are eager to continue their partnership with eBay and to promote more ethical shopping practices online.
