Lebanese Armenian family plans investment in home textile

Lebanese Armenian family of Nazarians intend to make investment to establish production of home textiles in Armenia, in particular, towels and bathrobes.

Armenian Minister of Economic Development and Investment Suren Karayan who had a meeting on January 27 with the Lebanese Armenian Nazaryan family that the company has rich experience in this field in different countries.

The Lebanese Armenian entrepreneurs presented their plans to the minister and discussed also taxation and customs related issues, as well as the possibility of import of raw materials.

Karayan assured the family that the government is ready to support them, and to use all its tools to assist in solving the existing problems. He also expressed hope that the company will be able to start production as soon as possible.

In turn, Armenian eEntrepreneurs said that they are going to establish and start production later this year.
