Latest innovation displayed in FIMAST

A unique trade show in Italy for the hosiery manufacturing industry, FIMAST offers the latest global information and innovations for the manufacturing supply chain, from yarns to production machinery and finished product.

Italian Special Yarns, Sina Filati, Leferon and Vitex are the latest companies to confirm they are returning to this year’s FIMAST with the latest innovations for the sector. FIMAST opens its doors from 27-30 May 2020 at the Brixia Forum – Brescia Expo Centre, in Brescia, Italy.

“Italian Special Yarns was founded on over half a century’s experience in the textile industry with the aim to develop and create a vast range of yarns with a particularly strong character. Craftsmanship and specialization merge to create a high-quality, Made in Italy product in a collection of yarns where different fibres combine in total harmony,” FIMAST explains.

“Sina Filati and Sina Giulio Agente were founded to market quality yarns for hosiery, knitwear, underwear and seamless, textiles and narrow fabric weaving as well as to share the experience of Giulio Sina, which has been totally focussed on the sector since the 1980s. The many types of yarn include wool, cotton, cashmere, acrylic, nylon, polyester, mixed, elasticated and trendy anti-static, anti-bacterial and dissipative technical yarns.”

“Leferon is a company that specializes in winding, twisting, dyeing and selling synthetic yarns. Technological ability is highly important thanks to the use of latest generation machinery and devices to guarantee production,” organisers say.

“For over 40 years, VITEX has been specializing in the sale and distribution of textile machinery for small diameters, seamless, dyeing and finishing with their own auxiliary machinery and yarns through collaboration with Leferon.”

“The next edition of FIMAST will provide the chance for the entire hosiery sector to meet and catch up. In partnership with CSC and A.DI.CI, conferences, seminars and events, devised to inspire, look to the future and face the challenges of a constantly evolving market, will be featured,” FIMAST concludes.
