Korean businessmen to build garment factory worth $3 mn in Kyrgyzstan

Investors from Korea plan to develop the garment and textile industry of Kyrgyzstan. They want to introduce advanced systems and technologies in this area to increase the competitive advantage of both countries.

Economist Dzhumakadyr Akeneev announced that Korean businessmen are planning to build a garment factory in Kyrgyzstan worth about $3 million.

According to him, representatives of the Association of Korean garment factories have already arrived in Kyrgyzstan to study the market of clothing in Central Asia, the possibility of its production in the Kyrgyz Republic, export options, as well as the state policy of Kyrgyzstan in the field of investment.

In addition, they are interested in investing in agriculture, particularly in the construction of greenhouses, as well as in medicine, tourism industry.
