JN Fibers to upfit its existing PSF recycling plant in Richburg, S.C.

China-based JN Fibers Inc., a manufacturer of recycled polyester staple fiber products, plans to upfit its existing manufacturing facility at Richburg, South Carolina, investing $45 million and also generate 318 jobs in Chester County.

The JN Fibers plant is expected to begin operations in the third quarter of 2014. JN Fibers Inc. will operate its factory and market products under their subsidiary Sun Fibers LLC. The new plant will recycle discarded soda and water bottles and transform them into recycled polyester staple fibers for use in home textiles, furniture, upholstery and automotive industries.
