Jeanologia
Jeanologia, a Spanish company that focuses on eco-efficient technologies, is set to introduce the textile industry to a new era of air-based and highly efficient processes at the upcoming Kingpins Amsterdam event. The event, scheduled in SugarCity, Amsterdam, will showcase how Jeanologia’s innovative technologies and procedures lead to the creation of authentic products while promoting productivity, competitiveness, and sustainability through automation and digitization.
Jeanologia sees air, digitization, and automation as key elements for a fully sustainable and efficient textile industry. Over the years, the company has been at the forefront of transforming the industry with groundbreaking technologies. They aim to replace traditional water-based processes with air, which results in genuine vintage-style looks while ensuring zero pollution.
One of their innovative processes, Atmos, uses ozone in atmospheric conditions instead of water and chemicals to naturally age garments and create a vintage effect without pumice stones or chemicals. At Kingpins Amsterdam, Jeanologia will present their G2 ozone technology, which revolutionizes the finishing processes for denim and knitwear. It significantly reduces water and chemical use, leading to a more sustainable and cost-effective production while achieving a natural worn look more quickly.
The Atmos finishing process is also applied to color treatment, providing an innovative solution for sweatshirts and T-shirts. This method acts like a time machine, giving a vintage look to garments. Jeanologia’s eco-washing solution based on ozone technology reduces water usage by up to 96%, eliminates toxic byproducts, and reduces energy consumption by up to 25%.
Implementing the “Washed by the atmosphere” ecosystem enables textile companies to eliminate traditional polluting processes and enhance the sustainability of their operations, thus benefiting both profitability and the environment.
