JD Williams launches new sustainable clothing brand, Anise

JD Williams has unveiled its new Anise apparel line, which features sustainable fabrics and eco-friendly manufacturing practices.

The Manchester-based label said the new range, which was designed in-house and debuted today, May 17, is part of its efforts to provide clients with more sustainable apparel alternatives.

It is part of N Brown’s, the retailer’s owner, sustainability plan, which aims to ensure that all of its own brand items are sustainably sourced by 2030.

Products in the collection have used environmentally friendly materials such as Lenzing Ecovero viscose and Repreve’s recycled polyester, which is made from recycled plastic bottles.

Furthermore, the Anise denim contains recycled denim fibers and was created using around 65 percent less water than traditional jean procedures.

N Brown’s CEO of retail, Sarah Welsh, said that designed for more relaxed occasions in their clients’ life, it focuses on the use of quality, sustainable materials, as well as longevity and adaptability.

Welsh added that the range seeks to attract more eco-conscious buyers without sacrificing elegance or value – something we know our JD Williams customers will love and appreciate. The collection is also an example of how they are expanding the mix of their own developed items in order to strengthen their handwriting and individuality.
