ISKO™ and R-TWO™ release capsule collection with recycled content

The Former Design Director at Levi Strauss & Co. and the Senior Creative Director of Product Design and Development at Patagonia have joined hands to release their latest capsule collection using only R-TWO™ fabrics by ISKO™.

This marks the second edition of their adding a unique combination of creativity and expertise brought to the table by ISKO™’s style and design centre, Creative Room Italy, and the innovative designer Miles Johnson the feature responsible R-TWO™ fabrics and a selection of sustainable accessories. Even the detailing have been done keeping sustainability in mind.

The collection includes 32 unique pieces, with each piece realised with seasonless designs and sustainably-minded details. The collection features a mixture of reused cotton and recycled fibres, the technique embeds material circularity into the production processes by designing waste out of the system and minimizing impact at scale. Certified by the Textile Exchange environmental credentials with respect to the percentage of materials contained, R-TWO™.  The R-TWO™ fabric technology has been ISKO's innovative contribution to the denim industry keeping sustainability as a core value. The collection is highly focused on minimising waste throughout the entire production process. 

The R-TWO™ fabrics comprise recycled and/or reused materials and are created through energy-efficient processes with efforts to minimise environmental impact in every step of the process. The reused cotton is procured from the company’s production line loss, which is continuously tracked and traced. 

Massimo Munari, the Manager and Art director Creative Room, ISKO, stated that when they first worked on this project they knew it was going to be amazing. Massimo added that in order to design and collection like this, required the right mindset and the right materials. He stated that R-TWO was the perfect ingredient to re-used and re-cycled content. He concluded that they were proud to bring their sustainable vision to light through their new collection.
