Investment in new technology marks DSM’s undertaking to the production of high quality products

Fredrik Hjelmqvist, Managing Director, Powder, Can & Coil Coating Resins, DSM said that, “After months of preparation, we’re very proud to launch this new facility in Meppen. This development underlines our continued commitment to the Can & Coil market and reinforces our capability to meet our customer demand moving forward – and specifically their demand for more sustainable solutions.”

Additionally, the investment in new technology marks DSM’s commitment to the production of high-quality products and economic incentives in the region of Meppen, which connects the economic areas of northern and central Europe.

Royal DSM (Heerlen, the Netherlands; www.dsm.com) announced the successful growth of it’s production capacity of its sustainable liquid polyester technology and other specialty resins, through the operational launch of a new state-of-the-art polyester production facility in Meppen, Germany.

DSM’s latest and new facility will empower higher supply flexibility and security, the ability to meet expanding customer demand and address customer needs, as well as developing DSM’s own inventory management and positively contributing to DSM’s working capital management.
