UAE is the world’s fourth largest trading centre of fashion and apparel, with the presence of about 150 apparel manufacturing companies that account for about 5.5 per cent of the world’s annual textile and clothing sales. According to a recent international report, by 2016, the UAE will become the world’s leading high-end textile and garment re-export centre.

Dubai is keen to showcase an extremely interactive fair with creative zones with the second edition of the International Textile Fair. ITF – DUBAI, one of Middle east’s most exclusive platform that allows the exhibitors to venture in to the MENA REGION ,aims to be UAE’s premier platform for fashion & home textile fabrics & clothing . INTERNATIONAL TEXTILE FAIR offers buyers, distributors, and designers the opportunity to view a large range of textiles from the most prestigious textile mills all over the world.

INTERNATIONAL TEXTILE FAIR attracts designers, buyers and product developers who come not only to maintain existing relationships but work also to source and develop new and exciting products. It seems to attract textile manufacturers and designers from China, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Indonesia, Italy and other countries.

Being in Dubai, not only is the fair extremely convenient for all our customers but it provides a fantastic opportunity to find inspirational, relevant and directional collections. Exhibitor Categories include: Casual – Formal – Soft, cotton, shirting, jersey, silk, outerwear, rainwear, coated fabric, printed fabrics, wool, worsteds, linens, tweed, fancies, flannel, synthetics, technical.

The trade event is expected to attract international large-scale textile producers and distributors to cater to the booming regional textile requirements. This one-of-a-kind platform would allow the Middle Eastern designers and garment retailers to access some of the largest global manufacturers of fabrics and prints. ITF 2015 would bring together over 200 exhibitors from Italy, Portugal, Turkey, India, China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, and other international markets.

ITF’s show director, Mr. Dilip Nihalani said, that shows like ITF are held regularly in cities like Paris, Milan and New York and it gives us great pride to launch a show of this calibre in Dubai. The show injects additional zeal to the regional textile sector, as international players build new ties and establish business alliances with local and regional players.

The International Textile Show is being supported by Texmas, the Textile Merchants Group that represents 800 Dubai wholesale textile traders.

This exclusive trade show to be held on 26th & 27th April at Dubai World Trade Centre is looked upon by most traders as an opportunity to cater to the local market and reach out to the emergent Gulf.
