Innovo Fiber, a Houston-based company, has announced an exclusive global distribution partnership with Archroma to widen access to its patented Fibre52 low-temperature bleaching technology. When used together with Archroma’s Avitera SE reactive dyes, Fibre52 offers a complete system that cuts resource use during pretreatment and dyeing, setting a new standard for sustainable cotton and cotton/polyester processing.

The combined technologies allow mills to lower water use and CO₂ emissions by up to 50%, supporting brands in meeting their sustainability and carbon-reduction goals. As part of the agreement, Archroma will include Fibre52 in its worldwide sales and technical services, making the system more accessible to mills seeking high-performance and eco-friendly processing options.

Fibre52 replaces traditional harsh, high-temperature caustic bleaching with a mild, low-temperature method that keeps cotton’s natural wax layer intact. This results in stronger, softer, and longer-lasting fabrics, reduces process weight loss by 2–4%, cuts energy and water use, and offers cost-neutral conversion while lowering the need for added softeners.
