Intrinsic Advanced Materials, the company behind CiCLO technology, will debut a new generation of responsible-performance luxury home textiles at Heimtextil 2026, taking place January 13–16 in Frankfurt. The new product development showcases how blending TENCEL fibers sourced from certified or controlled wood with CiCLO’s biodegradable polyester technology can deliver enhanced comfort and durability while supporting reduced environmental impact across home and hospitality applications.
The new collection combines the inherent softness of TENCEL fibers with CiCLO biodegradable technology, which is certified safe for sustainable textile use through OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT. Designed for sheets, pillows, comforters, and other high-use home and hospitality products, the collection addresses growing demand for materials that balance comfort, longevity, and environmental responsibility.
“Hospitality brands strive to deliver exceptional guest experiences, and this collaboration demonstrates how luxury, performance, and sustainability can coexist,” said Cheryl Smyre, Vice President at Intrinsic Advanced Materials. “By combining CiCLO® technology with TENCEL™ fibers, we are introducing premium bedding solutions that enhance comfort, strengthen product value, and support long-term sustainability goals for manufacturers and brands.”
Walter Bridgham, Senior Business Development Manager Home, North America at Lenzing AG, added that advancing home textiles requires materials that meet both current comfort expectations and future environmental needs. He noted that integrating TENCEL fibers with CiCLO technology enables manufacturers to create fabrics with superior softness, strong performance, and more responsible production practices, reflecting a broader industry shift toward thoughtfully designed materials.
