Artificial intelligence company Gensmo has announced a strategic partnership with Fabrique, a global collective that works with more than 350 designers. Together, they have introduced an AI-powered styling experience designed to help shoppers explore Fabrique’s wide product range in a more intuitive and engaging way.
The AI-driven platform allows users to explore fashion options based on different occasions and use cases. Supported by $70 million in early-stage funding, Gensmo’s technology includes features such as virtual try-on, personalized style recommendations, size guidance, and related tools aimed at improving the shopping experience.
Users can upload photos of clothing from their own wardrobes and ask the platform to create coordinated outfits around those pieces. Gensmo stated that its system has access to more than 100 million items for recommendations and outfit combinations. During its testing phase, the platform generated over 10 million styling matches in response to user requests. It can also suggest outfits based on a specific mood, setting, or overall aesthetic.
Rather than presenting products individually, the experience focuses on complete outfits. Gensmo’s AI reviews Fabrique’s entire catalog to create multi-item looks, styled on realistic digital models and based on how garments function together in real life. This approach is intended to give shoppers better context and help them make decisions more quickly.
