Recover Textile Systems, S.L., the manufacturer of Recover™ fiber, and Fruit of the Loom, the business behind the renowned FRUIT OF THE LOOM® branded apparel, are collaborating to launch a brand-new collection of timeless, unisex t-shirts.

Each sustainably designed t-shirt is created with 20% Recoverâ„¢ best-in-class recycled cotton fiber and comes in eight colors, with inclusive sizing and ethically sourced fabric and material. The cost of each t-shirt is $15. Starting on August 30, Fruit.com and Amazon will sell the limited-edition collection for as long as supplies last.

One of the numerous ways Fruit of the Loom is achieving its objective to "expand sustainable sourcing across critical materials" as stated in the organization's global sustainability plan, Fruitful Futuresâ„¢, is through their new Recoverâ„¢ cotton t-shirt line. The plan outlines explicit promises for each of the three major pillars of people-centeredness, environmental awareness, and product authenticity.

Mercedes Lopez, Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility at Fruit of the Loom, said that this collection represents the most recent effort by Fruit of the Loom to produce more environmentally friendly goods throughout the whole company. As one of the biggest producers and marketers of casual clothing worldwide, Fruit of the Loom is dedicated to minimizing its environmental effect throughout the whole value chain.

The firm is able to provide a circular sustainable program that uses textile manufacturing waste to produce high-quality recycled cotton fiber thanks to its cooperation with Recover and utilization of their cotton. One of the lowest-impact fabrics on the market, Recover's unique recycled cotton fiber also considerably lowers the water and carbon footprint of the clothing made with it. Fruit of the Loom is demonstrating its creativity and dedication to sustainability by working with Recover.

Boris Mercier, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Recover, said that they are excited to work with Fruit of the Loom to promote the adoption of sustainable practices in the casual clothing market. The collection's universality aligns with the Recoverâ„¢ brand's goals to accomplish circular fashion for everyone wonderfully.
