Freudenberg Performance Materials unveils a new line of 100% synthetic wetlaid nonwoven product line manufactured in Germany, offering versatility in filtration and industrial applications. These materials, crafted from various polymer-based fibers, including ultra-fine micro-fibers, complement Freudenberg's extensive range of wetlaid nonwoven solutions.

Ideal for both liquid and air filtration, Freudenberg's synthetic wetlaid nonwovens find applications in reverse osmosis membrane support, nanofiber or PTFE membrane support, and oil filtration media. Additionally, they cater to the building & construction and composites industries, showcasing their adaptability across diverse sectors.

The fully synthetic wetlaid nonwovens feature staple fibers of up to 12mm in length and microfibers as fine as 0.04dtex, with a weight range spanning from 8g/m² to 250g/m². With precise weight and thickness, defined pore size, and high porosity, these materials offer reliability and performance. Freudenberg's flexible manufacturing line integrates thermal and chemical bonding technologies, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency.

Moreover, Freudenberg's wetlaid nonwovens can incorporate glass fibers, viscose, and cellulose, catering to a wide array of industry applications such as surfacing veils for reinforced plastics, compostable desiccant bags, battery separators, acoustics, heat shields, and apparel substrates.
