French textile Co TDV Industries take over Klopman International

TDS Industries, a French textile company acquires Klopman International, a leader in technical fabrics for professional clothing. This alliance will strengthen the position of both companies and it will help maintain their own identities and management and handle their respective brands in complete autonomy.

The two companies will develop strategies guaranteed to benefit the personal protective equipment and professional clothing markets with a more complete, flexible and competitive range of products for professional, civil and military clothing.

This goal will be achieved by reinforcing the research and development departments and through the combination of the companies’ advanced expertise in differing but complementary areas.

Alfonso Marra, CEO of Klopman International said that they are extremely satisfied with this acquisition and they can now affirm that Klopman is entering a new era that will lead to great opportunities. The factory in Frosinone will be the backbone of this new era and they will work on making it a stronger organisation, able to bring even more innovation and quality to the market. TDV responds to all the requirements that they as management aimed for in order to ensure a great future for their company and all their employees.

The market will also benefit from the efficiency that the collaboration between the companies can bring in terms of purchasing, management of industrial tools, share of know-how and through the development of a multicultural marketing group, which will lead the business forward by studying, understanding and interpreting all different customer’s needs, the company reports.

The acquisition of Klopman shows their intention to create a leader of the technical textiles on the European and global markets. Klopman has been an undisputed reference for decades. It started the history of textiles for professional clothes and personal protective equipment (PPE) and it has been strengthening its position for decades, commented Christophe Lambert, CEO of TDV Industries.

Regarding TDV Industries, they are proud that their long lasting, sustainable, and socially responsible business model has been recognized by their clients and led their enterprise to a leading position in the French technical fabrics industry. Their strong and consistent capital expenditure policy, up to 5% of our turnover, has been driven by their willingness to meet their stakeholders’ expectations. Having decided to address the European marketplace, Klopman International appeared to be the best and most complementary partner with which to create a competitive and reliable player in this segment.
