Fibretrace launches the next revolution FIM that advances the traceability

Fibre Impact Module ‘FIM’ has been released by Leading traceability technology business Fibretrace. The module has a collection of tools and data for the fiber crops including their carbon emissions, water use, energy consumption and other environmental aspects as collected and surveyed on farms. Fibretrace provides brands with highly coveted transparent textile supply chain solutions by catering them its traceability technology. FIM is an advanced evolution module that combines impact measurement and traceability, showcasing significantly the Greenhouse Gas protocol accounting standards.

This will allow the customers to follow up with the impact of raw fibers at the farm level. A unique Fibretrace luminescent pigment is applied to the raw fiber, which is traced and audited in real-time throughout the global textile supply chain. FIM makes sure that sustainable fibers are going forward as carbon neutral.

Fibretrace has also partnered with an Australian based consultancy, Climate Friendly, which would engage farmers directly from all over the world and would help them fight climate change. All the data provided in the module is a third-party verified by an internationally recognized certification body that verifies the integrity of the application of the methodologies. FIM would be able to share the stories of the farmers who have invested lots of efforts and energy into making their farms carbon positive and are working consciously.

The Fibre Impact Module will be commercially available to the market in March 2021. It guarantees real-time results, delivers end-to-end traceability that can be securely accessed via the internet. It gives the right opportunity for every member of the textile supply chain to have transparency and updated knowledge for the same.
