Everest Textile joins Bluesign for sustainable denim practices

Everest Textile Technologies, a leading denim company, has joined Bluesign as a system partner. Known for its innovative textile treatments since the 1970s, Everest specializes in premium denim services, including washing, dyeing, laser cutting, and 3D effects.

As a Bluesign system partner, Everest will now provide Bluesign-approved washes to high-profile clients such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Diesel, Acne Studios, and Dsquared2. This ensures adherence to rigorous environmental standards while offering traceability and transparency. Everest holds certifications like ISO 14001, HIGG Facility Environmental Certification, ZDHC Progressive Level Certification, and GOTS Certification.

Luca Soligo, CEO of Everest Srl, emphasized the importance of advanced machinery and chemicals for sustainability, stating, “Our partnership with Bluesign marks a significant step toward Everest’s environmentally sustainable future. We are proud to be one of Europe’s largest laundries offering Bluesign-approved washes across the entire process.”

This collaboration reinforces Bluesign’s role as a regulatory resource, helping brands meet emerging standards like the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, and Digital Product Passports. Everest’s participation further advances the sustainable denim initiative globally.
