Eurojersey, a leading Italian textile company, at the upcoming Première Vision trade show will exhibit its latest Spring/Summer 2018 ready-to-wear Sensitive Fabrics collection.
The Let’s Go To Italy collection is interpreted in pastel shades, geometric patterns or hand-made details with a return to traditional printing technology. The collection reflects a journey through the country, via the coastal road from Positano to Rome, then Venice, Dolomites, and finally ending in Milan – the country’s and international fashion capital, which welcomes all cultures and styles – an authentic hotbed of contemporary lifestyle trends.
Positano, Rome, Venice, the Dolomites and Milan are the five themes, which are interpreted by various looks, from formal dress to more romantic outfits. Colour is dictated by designs that are ethnic yet innovative, patch-applied on dresses and pants. In the case of the latter, the use of different sizes and lengths is important owing to the utilisation of the entire fabric width, the company explains.
Positano is represented through pastel hues, borrowed from those of the houses looking down onto the marvellous Amalfi coast. The clear blue of the sea, the vivacious colours of the bougainvillea are all reflected on the matt surface of Sensitive Classic, with their patterns of ethnic inspiration or hand-painted effects.
Rome, an iconic expression of the historical, artistic and cultural heritage of the western world yet open to innovation, presents fabrics with geometric designs placed directly onto Sensitive Plus and Sensitive Classic, for dresses and pants, which are adaptable to all sizes, while maintaining the use of traditional roller printing.
Venice, with its timeless charm, a paradise for those seeking a unique and romantic atmosphere, rediscovers the ancient tradition of Burano lace to reproduce the 3D effects of lace bands, thanks to the inkjet printing technique, emphasising the shiny effect of Sensitive Seric Plus.
Dolomites, the most beautiful panorama in the world with its high peaks, striking colours and unique features, is reflected in the bold technique of inkjet printing on a dyed ground to produce the effects of denim and plain woven fabric. An interlacing of warp and weft threads are projected onto the Sensitive Classic between one floral motif and another to create a truly textural look.
Milan, a cultured, modern and lively city, which regales them with a more formal look, is interpreted in different shades, such as sand, dusty pink, pinstripes embellished with glitter print and white lacquer effects, ideal for night and day wear. Stripes and polka dots team up to create the shirt-look effect on the shiny surface of Sensitive Sheer, supported by the halftone technique of a single colour and a lighter tone, thanks to the Ecoprint technology.
Première Vision will take place from 6-9 February in Paris, France.
