Eastman introduced Naia™ Lyte, a new cellulose acetate filament yarn, at the Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics Spring/Summer 2026 exhibition. Naia™ Lyte enhances the performance of cellulose acetate yarn. With improved strength, it offers new creative and functional opportunities for designers, textile mills, and brand partners.
At the exhibition, the Naia™ booth featured an interactive sensory setup that allowed visitors from the global textile industry to experience the fiber’s qualities directly. A central fabric installation displayed its extremely light feel and silk-like appearance, along with improved strength. This combination makes it possible to develop delicate and lightweight fabrics suitable for a variety of uses.
The Naia™ display at the exhibition included four themed lifestyle sections: all-night comfort, inside out, on the move, and sustainable style. These sections demonstrated how the fiber can be used across different activities throughout the day. This flexibility comes from the key features of the Naia™ range. Whether in filament or staple fiber form, the material provides good moisture control, quick-drying properties, and a naturally cool feel on the skin.
Along with easy maintenance and a soft touch, Naia™ offers a balance of premium appearance and functional performance. It can be used in a wide range of products, including sleepwear, activewear, daily clothing, and home textiles.
