Dystar aids make supply chains cleaner and greener

Dystar, a chemical specialist organization with a background in product development and innovation has launched Cadira® Polyamide and Polyester/Cellulosic Exhaust. In the prospect of the launch, the company currently offers eleven Cadira modules in total support of the supply chain with complete sustainable solutions for the manufacturing and production process.

Fanny Vermandel, the Vice President and the global marketing coloration of Dystar stated that they are excited to add Cadira Polyamide and Cadira Polyester/Cellulosic Exhaust to their current models and now the brands, retailers, production houses and manufacturers can look into the new launch to further optimize their production processes. The company truly believes that its evolving innovative support can shape the supply chain towards a cleaner and greener production environment.

Cadira Polyamide is a green scour dyeing process that utilises DyStar’s Telon® , Isolan® dyes and selected Sera® products that can dye nylon, nylon blends and recycled nylon. The conventional process requires three separate baths, pretreatment, dyeing and modified after-treatment can now be accomplished in the same bath. This intern reduces water wastage, process time and energy consumed considerably. The test results reported 20% reduction in the electricity used, unto 30% less water consumed, unto 25% reduction in steam consumption and a 30% reduction of the dyeing time.

The Cadira Polyester/Cellulosic Exhaust module offers process optimization alternatives and exhaust processing of polyester/cellulosic blends in order to reduce the consumption of water, energy and the greenhouse gas emissions. This also results in the reduction of wastewater and effluent load.

Dystar high recommends environmentally friendly exhaust processing of polyester/cellulosic blends include Dianix®, Levafix®, Remazol®, Indanthren®, Sirius® dyes and Sera® auxiliaries for the dying and after treatment. 

Dystar has innovated a total of 11 Cadira modules, ever since its launch in the year 2016, which include Reactive, Reactive/Disperse Continuous, Polyester/Cellulosic Exhaust, VAT, Polyester, Recycled Polyester, Wool, Polyamide, Printing PX, Denim and Laundry to aid the textile value chain reach greener goals.
