DyStar LP, the US subsidiary of DyStar Global Holdings to acquire five specialist chemical units of Emerald Performance Materials, US textile chemicals manufacturer for which it has entered into an agreement with Emerald Performance to expand the companyâ€™s reach and growth within the textile chemicals market.
The acquisition will see the purchase of five units within Emeraldâ€™s specialities, polymer additives and nitriles business groups. Whilst the company is set to retain the specialities business, it has also announced it will sell on the Polymer Additives and Nitriles businesses to Jiangsu Sinorgchem Technology â€“ a Chinese chemicals company.
