7H Färgeri is leading its sustainability agenda by installing the first imogo Dye-Max spray dyeing line. The machinery will be functional from the first week of March in the 7H plant of Boras, Sweden. The company will become unbeatably flexible for the pre-treatments and finishing processes of cellulosic fiber-based fabrics.
As per the contract, a Mini-Max laboratory unit for determining volumes and color matching is also included. This machinery has claimed to reduce the use of freshwater, energy and chemicals by 90% as compared to the conventional dyeing systems.
Dye-Max consists of a closed chamber with nozzle spray cassettes installed with the imogo Pro Speed valve that helps in controlling the discharge volume. Imogo founding partner, Per Stenflo also tells about their reduced liquor ratio that is 0.5-1 liters per kilo of fabric; also mentions the non-contamination of the dye bath or dilution of dye liquor to worry about. Also, it will be taken care of that the immediate environment of the unit is kept safe and particle-free with an exhaust system and droplet separator. Per Stenflo presented the “Transforming Textile Dyeing” on the 12th of February.
