MD Uwe Stein, said that they’re really excited to present their first 100% climate-neutral product, and more will be coming soon. They're working with their raw material suppliers to steadily raise the percentage of recycled and bio-based fibers without sacrificing quality.
The X-Pac RX 3-layer laminates use X-Ply fiber reinforcement technology, which is a three-layer design that is tough, flexible, and waterproof. A sleek, technical appearance is provided by a lighter-weight polyester film backing.
Stein explained that the outer layer is created from locally obtained recycled PET to correspond with domestic fabrication in their climate-neutral plant and assist minimize their environmental effect. They've gotten a lot of positive feedback from their brand partners on this.
The RX collection is available in 3 levels of quality: RX15, a 150-denier face fabric for ultralight backpacks and totes, or as an inner lining for technical backpacks, RX30, a 300-denier face fabric with the best blend of construction for outdoor performance or urban use, and RX36, a high-tech face fabric with the performance of a 300-denier fiber and the durability of a 600-denier fabric.
Dimension-Polyant will use the cleenTEC seal on all climate-neutral products.
