Denim Expert Ltd develops new effluent treatment plant

Bangladesh apparel manufacturer Denim Expert Ltd is making strides towards 100% water reuse with the development of a new Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), aligning with Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) guidelines. The company’s commitment to sustainability includes full reliance on solar energy, marking a significant milestone in environmental stewardship.

The establishment of the biological ETP reflects Denim Expert Ltd’s dedication to sustainable manufacturing practices, as emphasized by Managing Director and CEO Mostafiz Uddin. The company’s proactive approach to sustainability is evident through its participation in initiatives like the Partnership for Cleaner Textile (PaCT), implementation of the 3E programme, and recognition as a ‘New Champion’ by the World Economic Forum.
