Denim Deal, World Collective to scale circular denim production

YarnsandFibers News Bureau 2026-05-05 14:04:18 – Netherlands

Denim Deal, a European initiative focused on promoting circular practices in denim production, is working toward expanding textile recycling efforts in India and globally. Denim Deal has partnered with World Collective to strengthen its mission of increasing circularity in denim. The initiative aims to boost the use of post-consumer recycled (PCR) cotton in denim manufacturing.

World Collective connects brands with suppliers, material innovators, and manufacturers through a shared sourcing platform designed for transparent and scalable trade. With access to more than 500 materials, including yarns, textiles, and advanced innovations, the platform helps brands make better sourcing decisions and build stronger supply chains.

The main goal of this partnership is to improve scalability. Through this collaboration, World Collective will increase the visibility and accessibility of suppliers and materials that meet Denim Deal’s circular standards. The initiative aims to support the production of 1 billion jeans containing at least 20% post-consumer recycled cotton by 2030.

This collaboration will provide Denim Deal’s supplier members with greater visibility and better opportunities to connect with international buyers. At the same time, brands will benefit from easier access to a wide network of verified materials and suppliers, making it simpler to source circular denim regardless of company size.
