Delilah Home launches the first 100% organic hemp sheets

The North Carolina based textile company, Delilah Home has launched the first 100% organic hemp sheets. These sheets have been certified from field to finished product to the stringent Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). According to GOTS certification, the sheets are organic and do not contain any hazardous inputs.

Delilah Home had launched the nation’s first extensive collection of hemp sheets in 2019 and has now soured certified organic hemp. The manufacturing is processed in the family-run factory situated in Portugal. The hemp fibres are converted into cosy sheets with a non-toxic process used to soften them to a pleasing linen texture.

Michael Twer, Delilah Home CEO, stated that their organic hemp sheets are helping in the expansion of organic and a safe home. The sheets are available in white as well as calming mineral green and light grey tones. These colours accent the Delilah Home’s range of plush 100 percent organic cotton bed linens and towels. The sheets weigh about 180 grams and the duvet covers are silky soft while the towels. 

Hemp as a fibre is popular for being long, strong, absorbent, mildew-resistant and temperature regulating. This provides warmth to the wearer especially during cold conditions and cool in the summer.

The Sleep Foundation featured Delilah Home’s hemp sheets as the “Best Cooling Sheets”. The sheets not only allows the cool air to reach the sleeper’s body but remove excess moisture to keep the sleeper dry and comfortable. The hemp sheets have also procured the title in the Wall Street Journal for its delightful balance between textured and soft. All Delilah Home organic cotton and hemp products are now GOTS-certified. The company has also procured certification Vegan by Vegan.org.

Delilah Home in 2019 to bring to market high quality organic and sustainable home textiles.
