CreateMe partners to launch ‘Seed to System’ initiative

YarnsandFibers News Bureau 2026-06-24 13:55:50 – USA

CreateMe Technologies, an AI robotics company specializing in automated apparel manufacturing, has announced strategic partnerships with Avalo and Laguna Fabrics to launch Seed to System, a first-of-its-kind initiative that integrates climate-smart cotton production, domestic textile manufacturing, and robotic garment assembly into a single AI-enabled apparel ecosystem.

The initiative aims to demonstrate how apparel can be designed, manufactured, and delivered through a more localized, technology-driven supply chain. By connecting partners across agriculture, textile production, and automated manufacturing, the project seeks to create a faster, more resilient, and transparent model for apparel production in the United States.

Seed to System was developed to address long-standing challenges within the apparel industry, where supply chain activities often operate independently with limited coordination between raw material sourcing, textile development, and garment manufacturing. Decades of offshoring have helped reduce production costs but have also resulted in longer lead times, reduced supply chain visibility, higher transportation-related emissions, and increased operational complexity.

The partners plan to continue developing the initiative throughout the summer, focusing on product development, material storytelling, and supply chain transparency ahead of a planned Climate Week activation and capsule collection launch.
