COS and Nativa collaborate on sustainable wool capsule collection

YarnsandFibers News Bureau 2024-01-08 16:25:52 – USA

H&M Group's COS brand has joined forces with Nativa, a Merino wool specialist owned by France's Chargeurs, for an exclusive capsule collection. Launched both in stores and online, it promotes regenerative farming practices for positive change. This collaboration underscores COS's commitment to traceability and transparency, aligning seamlessly with Nativa's dedication to cultivating balanced ecosystems.

The eight-piece collection features traceable wool fibers used in softly tailored set-dressing and elevated essentials. Notably, the knitwear pieces include wool certified by both the Responsible Wool Standard and Responsible Mohair Standard, alongside recycled and repurposed wool.

Nativa's holistic approach to regenerative farming tailors solutions to individual farm needs, enhancing soil and water quality, capturing CO2, improving animal welfare, and empowering farmers and local communities. This unique collaboration represents a blend of style and sustainability, signifying a significant effort in the fashion industry's eco-conscious evolution.
