The yarn for the shirts is being procured from marketing agencies in the domestic linen yarn segment, said its managing director T.N. Venkatesh.
In Coimbatore where it was introduced a fortnight ago, the shirts have disappeared off the shelves. The second consignment arrived a few days ago and more are expected to arrive for the festival season.

R. Natarajan, manager of one of the Co-optex outlets in Coimbatore, said that the decision to go linen seems to have paid off. The first set of shirts came a fortnight ago and was sold immediately.
