Circulose has joined the ecosystem of Spinnova to support the commercial scale-up of Spinnova’s fibre technology. Circulose strengthens this network by supplying recycled raw material that is in strong demand across the textile industry.

Through the new collaboration, CIRCULOSE® pulp is expected to be integrated into Spinnova’s production system as a raw material for new textile fibres. Unlike traditional man-made cellulosic fibres that rely on chemical regeneration, Spinnova’s mechanical process allows the partners to convert CIRCULOSE® pulp into new bio-based fibres without harmful chemicals or dissolving steps during spinning. The pulp can also be used at 100 percent in Spinnova’s process, removing the need to mix it with virgin pulp and enabling a higher share of recycled content in the final product.
