Maria Field, leader of Circular Polymers by Ascend, is set to present at Compounding World Expo about the possibilities of recycling post-consumer nylons for high-performance applications. In her talk, titled “Nylon Recycling: A Circularity Story,” Field will discuss how their recycling technology can convert end-of-life carpet into usable nylon 6,6 or nylon 6 without added water. The process ensures high product consistency and low energy consumption.

Circular Polymers by Ascend is known for efficiently recycling post-consumer carpet. They provide feedstocks for ReDefyne production and offer recycled fibers and pellets for compounds and injection molding applications. Earlier this year, the company launched Cerene™, a line of recycled polymers and materials.

Ascend Performance Materials, known for innovations in nylon 6,6, has published its 2030 Vision, with sustainability targets, including reducing waste by 40% and reducing scope 1 emissions by 90%.
