Ciele Athletics
Ciele Athletics, a Montreal-based technical sportswear company, has expanded its Elite running collection with a new performance fabric developed to help regulate body temperature during intense training sessions and competitive races.
The brand’s latest Elite Exploration (EXP) capsule features COOLmatic | EXP TERRAperf, a lightweight woven fabric enhanced with graphene technology to help distribute body heat more effectively. Meagan Smith, Production and Sourcing Manager at Ciele Athletics, described the precision-stretch fabric as functioning like a “thermal super-highway.”
Key pieces in the Elite collection include perforated Terraperf tops designed to improve airflow and the CRGTightShort made with COOLmatic | PLUS KLOSfit, a compressive fabric that provides a cool-to-touch feel. The RDShort, a lightweight and breathable knit short, incorporates carbon fibre yarn, which the company first introduced in its 2022 collection. The shorts also feature a welded liner with embedded ionic silver technology for long-lasting odour control.
The collection further includes the FSTCap and the TRLBucket Elite hat, which offers additional sun protection. The bucket hat is made using ceramic-printed fabric and includes a built-in neck guard.
