China keen to facilitate trade and investment in Odisha

China Consulate General of Eastern Zone, MA Zhanwu addressing a meet organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday informed that Odisha is a good place for investment and China is keen to invest in the state of Odisha especially in textile sector, port development and food processing.

He also said that they can facilitate trade and investment between Odisha and China in the textile industry, port development, food processing, etc,. The people in the state of Odisha have lots of opportunities and they are doing well.

He further said that China economy has slowed down and this year China’s growth rate is not as much as India. China would form an economic corridor, where Bhutan, India, Bangladesh and Myanmar would be part of it and Odisha would also be benefited from it.

Earlier on Monday MA Zhanwu met Chief Secretary AP Padhi and gave a proposal to have bilateral trade between China and Odisha
