Currently, Renu consists of environmentally friendly versions of 3 all-around polyester threads with wide-ranging applications across furniture, mattress, fashion, industrial, personal protective equipment, and other product segments.

President of CTC, Matt Poovey said that they felt proud in offering these sustainable thread solutions. The growing industry and consumer demand for products made from non-virgin materials are being addressed by this 100% recycled threads line. This Renu line of threads are designed to enable brands, retailers, and manufacturers to meet their sustainability goals as well as commitments while maintaining the characteristics of seam performance, colorfastness, productivity, and chemical resistance which they enjoy in the traditional polyester threads.

The Renu line of sewing threads is certified under OEKO-TEX Standard 100 which means that they are free of harmful substances. Renu line consists of all-around eco-friendly products like Renu Poly ChampCore™ recycled polyester-wrapped thread with a multifilament core, Renu ChampSpun™ recycled staple spun polyester thread, and Renu AeroTex Plus™ recycled textured polyester thread. By reducing energy consumption, waste, and oil dependence, Renu products contribute to the circular economy.
