Cavitec introduces redesigned Caviscreen for textile coating

As part of the Santex Rimar Group, Cavitec is unveiling the redesigned Caviscreen at Techtextil Frankfurt for the first time. This new version of Caviscreen incorporates cutting-edge technology to achieve exceptional results in breathable laminates, offering cost savings as well.

Specifically developed for coating and laminating breathable sportswear, rainwear, and protective clothing, the revamped Caviscreen utilizes a new method to apply adhesive more evenly and precisely. By using polyurethane reactive adhesive (PUR adhesive), the machine provides strong bonding capabilities and versatility, enhancing its performance.

The innovative screen coating system by Cavitec ensures precise application of adhesive, resulting in excellent air permeability and a soft feel in the final products. This system also increases bonding strength while using less adhesive compared to other coating processes, contributing to cost savings for manufacturers.

Furthermore, Caviscreen technology supports manufacturers by offering a simple and efficient process for switching between different screens, without the need for dealing with hot liquids. The compatibility with PUR adhesives guarantees superior performance and durability, making it a valuable investment for textile manufacturers.

In addition to its performance benefits, Caviscreen technology helps reduce costs significantly, with screens priced at only a fraction of common gravure roller prices, providing manufacturers with a cost-effective solution for textile coating.
