Carrington Textiles is set to introduce 12 new fabrics at the A+A exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany, taking place from November 4 to 7. Through a campaign titled Stretch the Standard, Carrington will focus on the advantages of stretch fabrics without sacrificing strength.
The collection highlights the company’s commitment to improving comfort and performance in workwear, with three-quarters of the new range designed with stretch technology. Of the 12 fabrics, eight use sustainable fibres while four offer flame-retardant protection. The range covers fabrics across different weights.
Other protective additions are Flametougher 240AS Flex and 290AS Flex, which use XLance stretch fibre along with flame resistance and antistatic features. In an industry-first, Flametougher 290AS Flex and Flameflex 300AS were tested by the independent German laboratory STFI under stretched conditions, confirming that flame-retardant protection remains effective even when the fabric is under tension.
Commenting on the launch, Paul Farrell, Sales Director at Carrington Textiles, said, “A+A is the most significant event for our industry. It allows us to show how we are stretching the standard in workwear textiles by bringing fabrics that balance durability, comfort, and sustainability with the high performance our customers rely on.”
