Busi Giovanni to display its sock machine line-up at ITMA 2015

Busi Giovanni, leading Italian socks knitting machines producer has announced its line-up for next month’s ITMA, which doubtlessly is the most important international showcase for textile and garment manufacturing technologies. They are going to display their brand new MEDICAL PANTYHOSE 4.5″, which boasts simply unique technical features and knitting performance for today’s medical-hosiery industry, said Busi’s Export & Marketing Manager Michele Castagna.

Earlier this month Busi announced that its new model Twin Layer had recently been granted the European patent, due to its unique technology. Busi Twin Layer is a high production single cylinder sock machine with latch needles in the dial that enable it to produce technical sports socks with twin fabric. The machine is based on the Busi Idea Terry and it has all the same features and knitting possibilities.

The machine is provided with a patented device that uses the dial needle for the production of an internal layer and the cylinder needles for the production of the external layer.

In early September the family owned company also announced the launch of two new medical hosiery knitting machines for large sized medical hosiery.

Castagna said that the aim of completing their range of models solely devoted to knitting class 1, 2 and 3 certified medical socks, they have recently launched the new MEDICAL PANTYHOSE (needle counts from 226 to 366) and MEDICAL TERRY PANTYHOSE (needle counts from 226 to 280) machines, both of which are available in a 4.5″ diameter, enabling the production of large socks and pantyhose.

Since 1958 Busi Giovanni Srl has specialized in the design and construction of single-cylinder machines with rib needles in the dial for the production of high-quality stockings, socks and tights. The company is a supplier to the most important producers of stockings, socks and tights, for the men’s, women’s and children’s markets – classic, patterned, sports, technical-sports, as well as medical, with special solutions for graduated compression.

Today, Busi is recognized worldwide as one of the most inventive producers of machines for high-performance and high-tech socks. Busi sells in more than 50 countries around the world (90% export) through a network of partners that provide distribution and service.

Busi will be exhibiting in Hall 5, at booth B103 at the ITMA.
