Big Rock Candy Mountaineering (BRCM) is incorporating eVent Fabrics’ new alpineST laminate, an advanced, low-impact, high-performance material, into its latest outerwear piece, the Dawn Wall jacket.

The alpineST laminate is a three-layer fabric that offers long-lasting waterproof protection and a high moisture vapor transfer rate (MVTR), ensuring breathability and durability. Made with recycled materials, a PFAS-free membrane, and a C0 DWR finish, it delivers top-tier performance with minimal environmental impact.

BRCM’s signature style combines heritage mountaineering aesthetics with modern materials. The Dawn Wall jacket features a 100% recycled nylon outer layer for abrasion resistance and a recycled polyester inner lining for breathability and comfort. Functional details include dual top and side-entry pockets, two chest pockets, a waterproof zipper, and adjustable drawstring hem and hood.
