Similarly, a Malibu-based brand- Bleusalt has collaborated with the ultimate fashion it-Girl, Kaia Gerber. The brand has become the new favorite among celebs and it-Girls alike, is kicking off the Spring 2021 season.
Through the partnership, a sustainably made hoodie has been created, dubbed Kaia Crop Skater, that also gives back 20% of all proceeds from sales of this new style will be donated by this sustainable label to ‘A Sense of Home’ — a nonprofit hand-picked by Kaia herself.
In a statement, Kaia said that through their donations to Sense Of Home for every purchase of the Kaia pant, it’s incredible to see the difference which they were able to make. They did not want to stop here, hence they produced the crop hoodie. The home will be created for youth with every purchase who have aged out of the foster care system.
The new hoodie would come in a variety of colors such as neutral shades of black, navy, light and dark grays, white, and camel which can be paired seamlessly with any loungewear and athleisure pieces that the consumers might already own. This new release is in line with its zero-waste ethos. Using fabrics made from the softest sustainable fibers, the garments are produced by Bluesalt entirely in Los Angeles. The cozy basics are becoming veritable street style habitués and hence celebrities like Cindy Crawford, Gigi Hadid, and Emma Chamberlain are leaning into the trend.
