YarnsandFibers News Bureau 2025-10-16 16:47:15 – India

Birla Cellulose has unveiled Liva Reviva™ M, India’s first next-generation circular fibre made with up to 50% mechanically recycled post-consumer textile waste. The fibre is certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®), underscoring its sustainable and traceable sourcing.

Developed by blending premium man-made cellulosic fibres with mechanically recycled textile waste, Liva Reviva™ M is plant-based, soft, and breathable, offering the comfort of natural fibres while advancing material circularity. The fibre has been tested across diverse product categories, including denim and knitwear, and is already being adopted by leading manufacturers exploring sustainable material alternatives.

Manmohan Singh, Chief Marketing Officer at Birla Cellulose, described the innovation as “a significant shift in how fashion materials can be produced and reused,” reinforcing the company’s commitment to circular textile manufacturing.
