Swiss natural fiber specialist Bcomp Ltd. has partnered with Spanish brand Siux Padel to launch the GEA racket, an advanced-level padel racket made with Bcomp’s ampliTex flax fiber reinforcement, combining precision performance with eco-conscious design.
Padel, a fast-growing global, typically relies on composite rackets. With GEA, Siux becomes the first to introduce a bio-based natural fiber alternative to this equipment category, targeting sustainability without compromising control, power, or playability.
The GEA racket features ampliTex flax fabrics on both its front and back, offering strong resistance to breakage, natural vibration damping for enhanced ball control, and lightweight durability ideal for intense gameplay. Its balanced feel and optimized sweet spot make it suitable for players across all skill levels.
Following the GEA’s launch, Siux’s first product as a fully independent brand, plans are in motion to integrate natural fiber composites across more of its product lines. “With GEA, we set out to prove that performance and sustainability can go hand in hand,” said Stefano Barbero, product director at Siux. “It’s built for the future of padel.”
