Baleaf takes strides towards sustainability in activewear industry

YarnsandFibers News Bureau 2023-09-04 16:42:51 – China

The activewear brand Baleaf has made a strong promise to focus on helping the environment by launching fabric made from beech trees. They have a reputation for being environmentally friendly and are taking steps to contribute to global conservation efforts.

Baleaf recently shared a detailed plan on their website that shows how committed they are to being eco-friendly in every aspect of their business. This includes where they get their materials, how they make their products, how they package them, and how they distribute them.

The branding department head, C.H. Katherine, explained that they are actively looking for ways to be even more eco-friendly, like using recyclable materials for their packaging and finding better ways to deliver their products with fewer emissions.

Katherine said, "Baleaf believes that being green in our personal and professional lives can make the world a better place. Our main goal is not just to talk about being eco-friendly but to actually show it through our actions."

Baleaf's "Sustainable Product Line" comes in a bag that can be recycled and breaks down in just three years, which helps reduce waste.

The CEO of Baleaf, Lefee Xu, mentioned that they've been focused on making long-lasting, high-quality activewear from the beginning. This way, people don't need to buy new clothes as often, which reduces their carbon footprint. They hope to work with more suppliers in the future to create activewear that's responsible for the planet.

To stick to their eco-friendly promise, Baleaf introduced a new kind of fabric made from beech trees. They're also using regenerated nylon and polyester fibers made from old plastic bottles and fishing nets.
