The London Textile Fair to showcase Pre-collection Autumn/Winter 2015 and Spring/Summer highlights with over 250 exhibitors. The Fair continues to expand with each event and is now a major influence on the UK fashion scene. This time, Asian manufacturers have shown tremendous interest to participate in the event.

Event organiser John Kelley said that they kept on getting requests from Asian manufacturers to join the London Textile event but as time scales are different they wanted to keep the Asian and European manufacturers separate, as they have a lot of the big players in the clothing industry coming that deal with top UK retailers. The show will be more selective than those taking place in the region. Some Asian shows host 2,000 exhibitors, many of which do not export to the UK.

However, following demand from Asian mills and British retailers, the London Textile Fair is launching an edition for Asian supplier this October where it will display fabric supplier from Korea, China, Thailand and the Phillippines. It will run on October 27-28 in Shoreditch Town Hall in London.

The London Fair attracts a wide range of textile mills, accessories/trim suppliers, and a large print design studio area. Exhibitors are mainly from Europe, including companies from the UK, Italy, France, Spain, Turkey and Portugal as well as some high-end manufacturers from Portugal.

The Fair will be held at the Business Design Centre, 52 Upper Street, Islington, London, N1 0QH on 16th/17th July 2014 from 9am to 6pm
