The German sportswear legend Adidas’ partnership with Parley for the Oceans has been turning trash into footwear and apparel for the past 6 years. They have announced an all-new era for its iconic Stan Smith silhouette, with the release of 3 new editions.

Through innovation and partnerships, Adidas announced its commitment back in 2020, to end plastic waste by 2050. The brand new sustainable range is named "Stan Smith, Forever" which aims to provide a new generation for the shoe, not only constructed with recycled uppers and outsoles but also donning several earth-inspired graphics.

This new shoe was first as a tennis shoe, named the "Adidas Robert Haillet" which was later changed to Stan Smith, after the American tennis player. Stan Smith has exceeded all expectations since its release and has quickly become one of the brand's most popular models. Adidas is revamping the iconic shoe in 2021 in order to advance its sustainability mission pulling off the Stan Smith to a new level of experimentation. The silhouette of the new shoe comprises a series of high-performance recycled materials, white recycled rubber outsoles, and white "prime green" uppers. The female version of the shoe features a white heel tab, ivory tongue graphic along with earth-inspired graphics. Each pair of shoes will be packed in the signature Adidas blue box, which will be created using 90% of recycled paper. The new Stan Smith shoes will be available for sale on adidas.com on March 24.
