7 for all mankind
Denim brand 7 For All Mankind has used modern technologies to create a collection of ready-to-wear and denim styles for men and women, that is fully traceable from cotton seed to shelf.
7 For All Mankind latest collection is backed by FibreTrace®’s traceability technology, the newest initiative within the brand’s Sustainable For All Mankind platform, and features Good Earth Cotton, the world’s first third-party verified carbon-positive cotton.
FibreTrace technology is a luminous pigment indestructible that is indestructible. The pigments can be tracked all the way through the supply chain, and they’re read and verified before the garments are distributed.
Sylvia Gonzales, director of fabric and trim for 7 for All Mankind, said that this ground-breaking insight into the supply chain and manufacturing methods helps them to make better decisions, driving continuing progress toward their Sustainable For All Mankind platform objectives.
As part of its Sustainable For All Mankind platform, Seven For All Mankind aims for 80 percent of its products to have sustainable properties by 2023, and to achieve this the brand continues to roll out new initiatives to its global platform and monitor progress in the brand’s three sustainability pillars of materials, manufacturing, and mankind.
FibreTrace is a patented technology that traces, verifies, and audits fiber in real-time throughout the worldwide textile supply chain. Fibre, yarn, fabric, and finished goods are identified and quantified, connecting the physical fiber to a secure blockchain specifically developed and engineered for the textile and apparel supply chain, with user interface capabilities.
The capsule collection consists of a new style, the Peggi In Plymouth, a high-rise tapered fit woven with a subtle stretch, dyed in a vintage blue wash featuring a brushed finish, contrast threading, and sustainable nickel hardware. Slim Illusion Skinny In Kent is another stunner, featuring a sculpted fit and finish in a medium blue wash with little whiskering.
