1888 Mills has introduced a new bath and bedding collection that makes cotton available at every price point. Created in collaboration with Cotton Incorporated, the range includes 100% cotton towels, sheets, and bedding at affordable prices, offering consumers a natural alternative in the value market. The products carry the Seal of Cotton trademark, which instantly identifies their natural fiber content.
“Our aim was to design a collection that’s both affordable and accessible, while encouraging people to choose natural fibers,” said Lexi Schladenhauffen, chief merchandising officer of 1888 Mills. “Working with Cotton Incorporated, we wanted to showcase the benefits of cotton, softness, breathability, and durability. With growing concern about microplastics, we believe products like towels and sheets, which are closest to us, should be clean, natural, and comfortable.”
The new collection features timeless essentials in neutral shades, with bedding offered in various solids and prints, including a modern gingham pattern that complements contemporary homes. It proves that cotton can stand up to synthetic materials on cost while providing better comfort, quality, and breathability. As a natural fiber, cotton is also biodegradable, supporting consumers’ growing interest in sustainable choices.
“1888 Mills continues to champion cotton and show that natural fiber innovation meets real market demand,” said Marcy Gang, executive account manager at Cotton Incorporated. “This collection demonstrates that cotton offers both value and performance, giving consumers comfort at prices that rival synthetics. We applaud 1888 Mills’ effort to make cotton’s benefits accessible to everyone.”
